Hermes Moving LLC maintains a published tariff, Hermes Moving LLC Tariff No. 1, containing the rates, rules, and regulations that govern the transportation of used household goods and the accessorial (additional) services that may apply.

Your right to inspect the tariff

The applicable sections of our tariff used to prepare your estimate are available for your inspection, and copies of those sections will be sent to you upon request at no charge. Just ask us — see Contact or call (754) 295-1213.

What the tariff covers

• Line-haul rates and how charges are computed (by weight or cubic feet).
• Accessorial services and their rates (stairs, long carry, shuttle, packing, storage, etc.).
• Fuel surcharge, minimum charges, and any applicable discounts.
• Valuation & liability options and charges.
• Rules incorporated into your bill of lading, order for service, and estimate.

Binding & non-binding estimates

Your written estimate discloses your charges upfront. Rates and charges are conditioned on use of the carrier's bill of lading and the terms in Tariff No. 1. A binding estimate guarantees the price for the services and items listed; changes to the actual move (added items, weight/cubic feet, or services) may change the price per the tariff.
